    Front driver seat - comfort

my buddy was riding around and he saw a guy so far back he was hanging his arm out the rear window ... I love how guys recline far and then rip around like they're mario andretti ... you've got such little control of the car.

    Rod knock life.

consider what you're going to do with your car. If it's a daily driver and you don't race or anything like that, just fix your D17 .... it's not that powerful, but you'll continue to get good gas mileage. I don't know what the K20 gets, but I'm sure it's not as good as the D17. If you wanna...

    2nd gear pulls? i need info a.s.a.p.!

I don't know ATs too well, but I know that your torque converter is essential. Talk to a tranny shop in your area, or your local dealership and see what they think. If you only have to replace your torque converter, you'll be far better off than having a full tranny rebuild.

    cleaning engine and bay

So long as you're not putting the pressure wand at the car wash like 6 inches away from your engine components, you're fine. I wash my engine every time I was my car with the soap/rinse settings ... wash, rinse, go for a drive for a few minutes at 100km/h or 60 mph for those south of the border...

    Quick Question

It's not just mileage but time that will cause it to degrade over time. It's like they say ... every 3000 miles or 3 months for oil changes. ATF is cheap, transmissions aren't. Get the service done now and save yourself the time. You're worried enough that you're posting on here so I'd get it...

    01 ex Sputters during accel

Check the plugs, plug wires, distributor cap and rotor. I had this exact same problem on my 93 Civic. I had a cracked distributor cap and the rotor needed replacing as it was arching, my old wires weren't helping, dirty plugs and my spark plug gaskets were leaking oil so my plugs were getting...

    Spark plugs

NGK plugs for anything that you put gas into. If your plugs are gone, check your plug wires too. Never hurts to make sure you're getting the best spark that you can get.

As for getting it fixed ... shop around at tranny places to get the best price. Look at $1000 or more for a rebuilt is my guess.

    Valet lock stuck

I have the same problem, but in reverse ... can't get the trunk to lock. You're luckier than I am though ... I'd rather not have someone smash my window to get into my trunk.

spoiler question - 2003 civic si coupe

I'm just looking at a 2003 Civic Si coupe (canadian version) and wondering if the spoiler for this model was standard or an option when purchased new. I like the look of the clean trunk lid but am considering an oem spoiler with led. I like the stock look, nothing too flashy or "fast and the...

    Reference: Recommend Vehicle Service Intervals

I always found it weird that Honda did their recommended service intervals at 6000km/8000km for some vehicles. Has it changed? I just bought a 2003 Civic Si and it says 8000 km in the manual for oil changes. Thoughts?
