Try bleeding the system ....and test ur thermostat by hanging it in a pan of boiling water with a cooking thermometer to see if it opens at the temp its supost to... do this to deturmon it is good .... I had 2 new ones in a row that did not open fully ......hope this helps If not let us know

Test the thermostat then see if it opens all the way I had the same problem and the new thermostat was bad and it only opend about 1/8 of an inch.

could be a bad thermostat or radiator car to.

it could just be the idle adjust screw needs to be turned to the right and then reset the ecu. mine did the exact same thing i even bought a new iacv and still the same thing so adjusted the screw down and it never came back on ,..so later i wanted the idle back up just a little and it came...

02sensor ? does it have wire on it and does it go into the manifold ?

Clean the Iacv and reset the ecu 1st.....then let us know what happends

the fan wont run till the switch is at operating temp and its on the side of the thermostat where the coolant needs to come out so there for its not going to come on till the thermostat opens just get a new one there not but 10-15 $ and test it before you install it there is a how to on...

That's what I was thinking to ....what fuse is it that resets the ecu? And also would that happen after I used a 1/2 tank of gas ...just all the sudden lose a seal? Thanks

ok the timing seems fine ,....i notice that its worse when ac is on ,...in know it should be but its way worse and this tank with out the treatment i got 26 mpg ,........just dont seem like it has the power it did when it was running at a warmer temp ,.............could i just cut the catty off...

I did just that put a 180 in and all seems to good and I just left the fan runing all tge time I don't care if it does..........the only thing now is its seems like it don't have the power it did like when it was runing warmer kinda like the catty is pluged ......thanks for the help and time

no cels all the plugs, cap, and rotor are new how do i check the timing? mpg about 29avg,.......some times as good as 35,...........same conditions exactly 38 miles each way and i never run the ac ,.......seems to be better when i run it harder and the gas light never comes on.
