i need help i got to drop my fueal tanka nd switch out my fuel pump on my 89 EF sedan and idk what the heck to do im so fustrated with this car i wanna burn it

(1st) 92 CB7 coupe (all motor) did low 12's was the fastest all motor CB7 around where i lived beat a 230hp RX8 in 3rd gear (2nd) 89 EF Sedan (so far worken on it)

i have a problem with my 89 ef sedan.. when i step on the gas it feels as if it wants too shut off but jumps then finally shuts off and i cant figure it out i changed the fuel filter and i think it the fuel pump but im not too sure what can it be eney suggestions??:(
