I've got an 05 Civic Ex 1.7L that started dying in the middle of the road. Wait a few minutes, start right back up, die a little bit later, etc. I took it to the dealership and $1000 later it still keeps giving me the same issues, though they finally did say it was the fuel pump. I replaced the fuel pump myself, but now it won't start at all. I thought I had isolated it to the fuel pump relay, but even with a new relay (which I've tried twice) it still won't prime the pump or keep it running after I get the car started. If I pull the relay out and use a Paperclip to bypass, it runs just fine.
