'05 Civic key wont turn to start

Just bought a 05 civic and its not starting. Its stuck ay 0. The ignition goes 0 l ll ll and the will not move and steering wheel is not locked... Any suggestions?

If I understood you correctly, the key wont turn in the ignition. That leads me to think either your key has worn down to a point where its not engaging all the key cylinder pins or at least one of the pins is stuck. Try spraying some lube in the key hole then repeatedly slide the key in and out for a few times before trying to turn the key.

If that doesnt work then you have two more options I can think of. Source another key cylinder from a junkyard (with the key) and have a locksmith key-match it to your current key. You can also remove the key cylinder and have a locksmith try to fix it or possibly create a new working key. Paying a locksmith to go to you will get very expensive.
