2007 Civic Si check engine light wont pass inspection. After market air flow assembly, honda tech says to install original part, diagnostic check shows air flow too "rich". Original owner says try cleaning the Mass air flow sensor to clear light if not replace Mass airflow sensor. The system woint reset therefore wont pass inspection, this is going on for a month now....help

Please answer these questions as your post is not clear or detailed.
- By "after market assembly" do you mean a cold-air intake tube?
- Do you mean a technician at Honda told you to put back in the original air intake box?
- Exactly what diagnostic code did you get, and was this also done at Honda?
- How have you tried to reset the system? The ECU will not reset itself if its a diagnostic code.

You may just need to visit a real mechanic because most dealership "technicians" are more like parts swappers at best and just read codes. They usually don't know how to really diagnose an issue.

Im also tweaking your title to read that you have an issue. Details go a long way as do helpful titles.
