Hi all. I have a oil leak somewhere that must be located around the distributor?? What happens is after driving the car and letting it sit while I go into the store 10-15 minutes est. I start it up and blue oil smoke comes from the engine compartment. I have checked on the ground and have found no oil. It does use oil, so where it is leaking from goes onto the exhaust and gets burned off. I have checked the valve cover gasket, but it appears to be good. Any suggestions?

Sounds like your distributor o-ring is leaking. Check this out: How to: replace distributor o-ring

the o-ring or the dizzy seal inside the housing is leaking and then you just replace the whole dizzy, but replace the oring and look on the back side under the car and see if there is any oil leaks coming from around the head area
