Im a noob and i was wondering if i took the clutch out of a 1985 honda civic dx could i put it into a 1989 honda civic si sorry if this is a dumb question thanx
no sorry it wont work. you 85 civic has a 19 spline input shaft. the 89 SI has a 20 spline input. a simple comparison in part numbers and descreptions from www.Partsamerica.com will show you that
if you have a si why not spend the time and money and put in a new oem or a stage 1 clutch, i have a 91 std with a si tranny with a stage 1 xtd racing clutch and it pulls like a champ and before it was more like a turtle. and welcome to cc
