when i first got the car the hood had some nasty cracks on it... so i sanded to bare metal and just had it primered... car is scheduled to go to the body shop in about a month and a half...

Nice car man. You should get an OEM Style Carbon Fiber hood in my opinion rather than try to salvage the other. The car looks great though I am excited to see it.
