Have a 93 Civic LX automatic. Car has never had an issue starting. This morning I went down. Put the key in, all lights came on as usual... but when turned to start nothing. Tried jumping. Nothing. I checked the IG fuse. Looks fine. Really have no clue what could be the issue. Any ideas??

1) Remove battery. Have an auto parts store test it for you.

If battery is good:

2) Run two separate wires from the positive (+) battery post to the starter motor terminal (B) and to the starter solenoid terminal (S). Does the starter now crank the engine?

Do you hear any relays click? Do you hear the fuel pump turn on? Tap the starter with something heavy. Every now and then you'll get stuck on a dead spot and shaking it free will some times do the trick if the starter is the problem. Double check all your fuses under the hood. The big heavy gauge ones. They'll say 30A, 40A, 50A on them.
