1995 Civic Coupe V-Tec Overheating

My friend has this civic that keeps over heating, he got a new radiator, changed the thermostat, switched a ripped heater hose, but the car just keep over heating after five minutes of driving without the AC even on, anyone know what the problem is?

How do yu know it's overheating, the temp gauge? Or is it just really warm in the engine bay? Cause that's normal.

I guess what I'm asking is what are all the symptoms it has.
