1997 civic door handle issue

Question. Replaced the front driver side outer door handle on my 1997 civic ex today, followed a how to video, got everything back together and neither my inside or outside handle opens the door now. Thoughts?

You did it wrong and forgot to hook something back up. Have you retraced your steps yet and reinspected it?

Yeah, make sure you hooked up all the rods back to the handle's mechanism

Take the door apart, make sure the rod is hooked up. Did you put the retaining clip back on each end of the rods to ensure they stayed put?
There is nothing really complicated to it, it's one rod that runs from the exterior handle to the interior one.
