I have a 2001 Honda Civic was driving fine,
It started bucking lost power and stalled, it would not restart, and the shifter release lock could not be moved without taking out the plastic tab and inserting the key into it,
Everytime I turned the key to the start position it would blow the #6 Fuse under the hood a 15 amp fuse
and I would see a green key flashing on the dash, Long story short, I pulled the Crankshaft sensor connector which is on the same section of the harness as the fuel injectors and noticed burn marks on 1 of the outer pins, I removed the front wheel, alt belt and a/c belt and the crankshaft pulley, and lower timing cover to access the crankshaft sensor, and noticed the crankshaft sensor internals had popped out and were touching the crankshaft rotor causing the short circuit.

No more Blown # 6 FI/ECU15 amp fuse I hope this helps anyone out there with the same problem, It was a pain to find.

it will be nice driving my civic again.
