2003 honda civic manual transmission removal

Hello everyone, I have a noisy internal shaft bearing in my 2003 honda civic (manual transmission) and attempted to remove the transmission from the car but there is not enough room to take it out. Has anyone managed to remove a manual transmission without taking out the sub frame ? I would appreciate any help as my
car is on stands and out of order.

I always drop the subframe. But of course I always have a lift. I don't think there is any way to do it otherwise.

theres no other way to get the transmission out. you have to drop the subframe to do it.. i know its a f**king pain.

ps how many miles are on your tranny .. mine is rattling like a motherfucker also (just curious)
