2004 Civic DX cluster swap to 04 EX

Hi all,

I've been searching the internet, and this forum for the last few hours and have come up empty handed..
I have a 2004 DX with no tach, and am looking to swap in a 04 EX cluster. Some people are saying It's plug-and-play, some say it isn't. I really cannot find clear instructions on swapping the same year cluster into my DX. Any information leading to this being a success would be appreciated!

Can't say itll be 100% However just because its digital your milage in your car will no longer be what it is. Whatever the new (ex) cluster had as its millage is what you will see
