7th gen engine specification

im confused. i searched the internet and i really do not know what engine are we using here in the Philippines. d17a6 or d16w7? wikipedia says that it is d17a6 but when i got my car fixed the invoice says is 1.6 so may be it is d16w7. does anyone knows it?

open the hood. look at the engine. on the LEFT side where the exhaust manifold is. just below it you will see a set of numbers stamped there.... it will read D17A2 or whatever this is the only real way to tell. its on a flat spot thats molded there... it may be covered with grease. but most new ones are not.
