Hi everyone, I have a 93 Civic ex that recently failed its smog test in Cali. With high noX. Everything is entirely stock and before the test I adjusted/replaced the timing to 15 BTDC, NGK plugs and wires, OEM cap and rotor. I have no CEL's and car runs great. Checked voltage and resistance of o2 sensor and it SEEMS ok but I know a multimeter can't tell the whole story. I also noticed the rubber valve on the underside of the radiator cap is missing. I haven't had any issues with low coolant or overheating but I wonder if it could contributing to higher combustion temps? Below are the numbers from my failed test:
