94 civic ls swap speedometer not working

Ok I have searched on the internet for the last 2 days and found nothing. I have a 94 eg hatch that I just completed an ls swap on from a 95 integra. I used the integra wiring harness on the swap and the only thing not working is the speedometer and the tach. Should I have used the civic harness. The transmission I used is out of a 98 integra ls. But I swapped the vss from my 95 into it bc the plug would not connect to the 98. The tach dose try to work but moves very slowly up and down. No CEL on and I tried 2 different clusters. Any ideas on what to try next would be great. The vss worked when I took it out of the integra.

It could be an issue with the speed sensor.

I figured it out after doing some more research last night accidently plugged the wrong plug into the vss only had 2 wire on it. And realized that it needed 3 wires. All working now.

Great! I wonder what you had plugged in there to cause the speedo to actually jump a little.

Either way, glad you got it working. :thumbs up
