'95 Civic Temp Gauge issue

My 95 Civic temp gauge reads a tad higher above middle whenever I switch on the headlights and when the engine gets hot. I've added and increased grounding from chassis to engine and even cleaned the ground points for the lights but yet this still happens....the radiator fan turns on and it slowly goes back from 3/4 to middle. If I rev the engine same effect as the fan. All the other gauges are fine. Puzzled.

I would clean all your grounds, not just to the headlights. But that shouldn't cause the temp gauge to go up. There's a possibility you have air in the coolant system, so bleeding that could definitely help.
