98 civic hatchback trunk wont unlock

i have a 98 civic hatchback cx and was at the mall so i locked my trunk and when i got home it would not unlock. tried pulling up on the little knob on the inside and tried using the key. when i use the key the little know will come up a little bit but wont unlock it. how can i fix this

Does the lock cylinder seem stuck, such as the key doesn't even turn?
