Aftermarket radio memory

New here, any help would be greatly appreciated. I purchased a 98 Civic LX from a private seller and noticed that every time I turn the car off the aftermarket radio loses memory. I have searched for days, finding things that it could be and troubleshooting up until this point. I'll list what I have done so far

-Checked fuse on back of head unit - good
-Checked for proper grounding - good
Checked "radio backup fuse" under the hood, it was blown so I replaced it.
-Checked all wiring from back of head unit into the stock harness
-Ran 12v constant from the battery to the memory wire on the head unit

All to no avail, still no memory. Am I missing aomething, the headunit will manually turn on by pressing the power button, but after turning the key off and back on the radio is back in demo mode with all settings reset back to factory and has to be manually powered on.

Thanks for reading, and thanks in advance for any help.

Visual inspection can be unreliable.

Voltage test the fuse with a multimeter.

Or check whether battery voltage reaches the Wht/Blu wire in the radio connector.
Ok let me do that real quick
