No. It's connected to multiple wires. Depending on what kind of alarm and the features it could be connected to:
Power
Ground
Ignition
Door locks
Windows
Starter or fuel pump (or both)
Dome light
Parking lights
Shock sensor
Perimeter sensor
Back up battery
L.E.D. light
Antenna
To be honest...if you are on here asking it would be best to take it to a professional. Wiring an alarm isn't for a newb to electronics/wiring. You can really mess something up if you aren't careful.
