Always on/Blinking Sidemarker Question.

Hello, I want to install my OEM clear sidemarkers with amber lights but I don't know if LEDs are needed. I read that LEDs are needed because the stock lights get too hot when wired to always be on (and blink with he turn signals.) So, are LEDs needed to run them 'safely'?

I don't think they are needed, I've never heard anyone say that.

yea that the first time i ever heard anything like that. most LED usually need some sort of resistors to limit the voltage/amperage going through it for some cars.
