automatic to manual swap, can't get a straight answer

I have a d17a2 with an automatic tranny, I want to swap it to a manual tranny, what all will I need to buy to make this possible? Thanks!

What year car do you have? I ask because you have a 7th gen motor but you posted in the 4th gen section. That will make a difference...


I assume you have a 7th gen auto. How hard did you search? Literally the first link from google:

Do you have an EX? You mentioned D17A2 in your initial post, but D17A1 in this post. Take a look here:

4th gen is for 89-91 Civics.... quite a bit older and very different compared to 7th gens.
