B16 swap from d16y8

Fixing to get started gathering parts I need for a b16 swap which trans would be best? Can I use the gsr trans?

Not trying to be 'one of those' but there are hundreds of links out there showing you basically step by step and/or what parts you need to pull this off. Short answer? Yes you can use a GSR tranny.

GSr is a bit longer geared.. but wouldnt the B16 trans be suited for the b16 engine? But if you have access to a GSR trans, grab it as they arent many available anymore



EDIT: I still dont know why people swap from a 1.6L to a 1.6L.. If your going to change engines, get the bigger one
