b20b swap help pics included

hey i got a b20b sitting in a 99 civic that im puting in a 97 civic ex
need some help with wiring because the harness with motor is f**ked!

can i use my d16y8 harness on the b20b (vtec plugs not being used i know )

I have not done this swap, however I have been researching it a lot lately and you should be able to use your d16y8 harness with it. You only have to lengthen some wires on it.

WOW make sure you fix that dizzy harness before it causes all kinds of trouble down the road. Is that 99 running OBD1 or is it still OBD2?

still obd2 and my car is obd2a got to buy a p75

i did the swap but one problem i still had the stock ecu for the d16y8 just to get the car home . car started like 3-4 then it didnt want to any more and ecu mad some noise like ticking sound .
