2003 civic ex, completely stock. So as I'm driving home from work today, I notice my cruise control isn't working. Probably a fuse, I think. Only, when I get home, I check the owners manual fuse reference. Only to find there's not a fuse marked for CC. So as I get out of the car I notice my brake lights are on. I've never seen that before. So I pull the panel under the dash, and look for anything unusual. Don't see anything wrong, and I've never heard of this. So I'm sure it's something that's a regular thing for a Honda mechanic, but I'm not sure where to look, to diagnose this issue. The brakes work fine. Any ideas where to start?

Replace the brake switch under the pedal. Cruise wont come on because it thinks you are riding the brakes.

Its a very common issue. Searching would have found that out.

Fixed it! Though it wasn't a switch at all. Thanks for trying.
Can a post get anymore useless or self centered?

Tell me your account name at Honda-Tech so I can eliminate you there.

Such a friendly helpful group. Wonder why there aren't more people here?

A room with so much sarcasm and egos is always a fun and inviting place to be.
