break light bulb replacment

i'm finding it difficult to replace my break light bulb on my 1996 hatchback civic since i cant remove the bulb. any tips please?

Shouldnt be to hard. is it an headlight bulb? if so its easy
1.Open your hood
2.Unplug the plug connected to the lightbulb
3. Remove the universal rubber o ring (should be easy its just a rubber cap)
4. Theres a clip that you need to unclip to get the bulb out (I think you turn it to unclip or pull it gently )
5. and there you have it. repeat steps in reverse when you install a new bulb in.

If its a brake light bulb, simply twist then pull. If it struggles to twist then use pliers for added leverage.
