Ran into a problem today while working on a manual tire rotation. On my front wheel the stud snapped off.
Possible reasons are that whoever last took off my tire for some type of work, didn't set the screw in place by hand before using power tools. So when the stud broke it was really hot, so I'm assuming there was too much offset and friction.
Anyways, so now this is what I have.
The stud on the right has snapped, and the stud on the top left was also kind of giving me problems while trying to unscrew it. The 2 on the bottom came off fairly easy though.
What should I do and how much do you think the costs will be?
I was thinking to go to the Meineke near my house and get the work and proper rotation done.
