Catalytic Converter

Hi, I have a 1999 Honda Civic 1.6iLS Coupe that I have just struggled to get through it's MOT on emmissions. The tester said the Cat was knackered and he had tried to get one but all the stockists said they were no longer listed. Luckily the tester tried a few more times and evenyually managed to get it through the emmissions. He said my only hope for next year would be a used Cat off the likes of Ebay. Does anyone know if the same Cat is used on models other than the Coupe as that model is pretty rare now. Thanks, Barry

Being a US based forum, many of us are not familiar with that model.
Only through looking it up, I'm guessing it has teh d16y7 in it?
You'll probably need a catalytic converter like this, which comes directly off the short exhaust manifold?
