We ran 4 GoPro's Suday as well. Two were mine, one was Mike's and one was a buddy Jose (CW ITR owner that I've posted work on). Mike took his and Jose's home and was able to upload video this morning. These are not edited so you will have to skip ahead to where it starts...

what are your spring rates? Seems pretty soft (soft is subjective, i know)

They are just the "stock" Tein SS springs at 8k/4k. One of the reasons I'm wanting to bump up to the Flex is to get the stiffer rate, but even then its only 9k/5k. I might just order some of their race springs in different rates as it would be much cheaper...lol. Their springs are only $70 a pair so I could order front and rears for just under $200 shipped.

Thanks man. I loved it as well. Honestly never thought I'd let it go but I think it has been removed for good now. Standard carbon just flows much better for the direction I'm heading. But it looks great on my bro in laws EM1...that he bought from my wife...lol.

Thanks man!

Made a big step in removing the purple from my bay. After I came upon a great deal on some DownStar hardware I decided not to paint the PWGayDM stuff. Some of the ProBolt hardware is still there but I'll be removing that as well.

Thanks guys.

crawfordm4692, that headliner was purchased from a shop, that I do not remember the name of, up in Maryland back in like 2003/4. I have yet to find anyone who makes them still. They were very limited in production back then and some people got scammed by another company that never actually produced them. The only way I know for you to find one is to get lucky and find one...lol. I sold mine to a now friend who had been serching for years. And I am unaware of any that were made in kevlar, only carbon from what I have actually seen. I wish you luck in your search though.

My trip from Portsmouth, VA to Frankfort, KY and then up to Sparta, KY for IA and back home.

Thursday, July 17, 2014. We ready...and by we, it was just myself and ole blue...lol.

Friday, July 18, 2014...about 2hrs into the drive on I-295, avoiding downtown Richmond at morning rush hour...steady rollin'

Fuel stop 1. I forgot to put a location on this stop. I think it was off I-64E/I-81S in western VA.

Crossing into WV...

That rolling shot of my face...lol.

Fuel stop 2, Hurricane, VW.

The FAIL of missing the KY sign crossing into KY...lol.

A jumper! Dont do it!

And then, KY road work sign said "Right lane closed ahead" Good one KY...

And then, about 20 min from the hotel, dead stopped highway...on both sides...when I saw this ambulance going up the wrong side of the highway, I knew it was bad. No photos were taken around the accident. Most horrific thing I've ever seen. Like Final Destination level horrible. RIP.

Arrive.

Waiting for the homies to arrive from TN...

Saturday, July 19 2014. We up.

Long line was long. Not bad though, about 45min to get inside...

Do you even stance bro!?...lol. Not sure what happened here. Buddy got a photo of him with his gas tank off a little later on. Guess he didnt know the back seat provided to the fuel pump...lol. But really, no clue to the problem.

Pics stolen from EM1Crew members Fredo and Chelsea via FB...Thanks!

Check these out yo!

Chelsea's...

Fredo's...

Sunday, July 20, 2014. I left to come home to VA. Bye Chester!

Bye to my other homies you all dont know!

Was a crap morning for a drive, but I was east bound!

Seems the Si didnt like the road grime, it started foaming and washing itself. Wrd.

Sup WV.

Fuel stop 1, Chesapeake, WV.

VA? Oh, hai!

Fuel stop 2, Charlottesville, VA.

Home. 1,327 miles round trip.

Aw man, I love this car. So sick, and clearly used as it should be.

You need one of those fancy blue VIN plates on your raddy support (Where your cutout is for it) :D

Thanks bud. I do try to use it as much as I can! This Sunday will be another X session =)

But I could never put a blue tag on my car, even if I did the RHD conversion. They have "EK9" or whatever on them and my car would never be. Some things I just cannot do as it is not nor will it ever be authentic to the "JDM" part. Part of the reason I never picked up the CTR cluster or the console, CTR badging. Just not my style, ya know?

And...

Couple snaps via S3 Magazine blog and oddly enough, Stance Nation blog...

Thanks bud!

Late update through last night...

From the Virginia Autocross Championship (July 19-20).

Couple cell snaps I took...

First round of pics from a photographer this weekend. This was from Round Two on Sunday...

My buddy Jose (white ITR owner) came out and brought a friend. I gave them both ride alongs. This is Jose's buddy, never been to a sanctioned event or anything. He just bought a brand new STI, guess that means a 2015 if they are out or a 2014 if the '15's arent out yet. He was highly impressed with the Si ;) Sneaky photographer caught me showing him how to get strapped in place.

8-26-14ish
So I picked up a set of the J's Racing door vinyl number boards at IA from the J's booth. I am not one to just lay down vinyl on paint, let alone that much and the attention it would draw...lol. So, I found a company that I could order magnet stock for vehicles. Next, since numbers for racing arent always a sure thing, I ordered some reusable vinyl numbers and classing.

First, I wet down (with a soap/water mix) the magnet stock...

Then, after laying the J's vinyl down and pushing out all the air pockets and such, I did the same for the numbers/letters. Wet down, set, push out...

Finally, I cut down the oversize magnets to the actual size of the J's boards...

Last night...
Not much going on here.

Was about time to replace the front tires. No biggie, two years on the RE-11's. Still would have been fine for a little while but they were loosing the heavy rain traction and were "talking back" to me. Better safe than sorry. Plus, the Dragon is coming up, why not have fresh meat up front =))

Before, ready to go!

After! RE-11a

Picked up two BNIB silver 949's in 15x9 to match up with my two silver x8's in the attic. Probably throw some new RA1's on them for a track rain setup.

And in consideration of removing my fogs for ducts, picked up some green J's Racing S-Tai LED lights...

And some random stuff to have on hand. 4gal of Honda coolant and 8 new tubes of Honda-Bond.
