Civic 2004 ex misfire of 3 cylinders

My Honda civic 2004 ex is random misfiring on 3 cylinders. I have put 4 brand new oem spark plugs in, put 4 brand new oem coil packs in after honda determined it was the coil packs. It was good for about 2 to 3 weeks of not misfiring but now the misfiring is back. So either the brand new coil packs went bad in 2 to 3 weeks or honda was wrong on there diagnosis.

Any ideas please, would be great.

Are the plug wires in the correct order? Your ignition timing could be off too.

I did not ever touch the plug wires. They are in the original order that came from the factory when we bought the car in 2004. I will ask honda about the timing.

2004 civic does not have spark plug wires from what I understand.

personally if you have anyway to do it yourself i wouldnt trust honda with asking them about the timming unless they still have your car or you take it to them just for that how would they check it?
