My 2004 Honda Civic EX Coupe has been having a misfire on cylinder 4. It is most noticeable when I am going around 65+mph and I ease up on the gas, so I'm no longer accelerating, but I'm not decelerating either. The engine sort of shakes and it feels a little like someone is lightly tapping on the brakes.
I have tried all of the obvious fixes, such as: changing spark plugs, ignition coils, EGR valve, switched around fuel injectors to see if it would bring up a code on a different cylinder, and even put in a new electrical load detector (my mechanic showed me that fixed the problem in about 200 separate situations on his mechanics only thread).
My mechanic did a compression test with no success in finding the problem. I have exhausted my research attempts and have no clue where to turn to solve this problem.
Does anybody have any sort of clue what could be going on?
