My 96 LX is sick. #4 cylinder isn't firing. I've checked injectors, changed the wires, button, cap, plugs and coil. Please help!!!
Wouldn't compression effect more than one or two cylinders?Compression test the cylinders.
I'm only asking because I don't know. How would this cause a misfire?Your engine can lose compression in 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4 cylinders.
Misunderstanding. I assumed that cylinder misfire would cause it not to spark. And I checked #2 plug and it seemed to be firing fine. Didn't think it was important. So, do you think no spark at plug 4 is relevant?
And you didn't think mention of misfire in cyl 2 and random misfire was also relevant?
No more suggestions?Misunderstanding. I assumed that cylinder misfire would cause it not to spark. And I checked #2 plug and it seemed to be firing fine. Didn't think it was important.

Yeah it runs. The new information should have been included in the first post. Is there any more potentially relevant information that you haven't shared?
Can I assume that the engine runs?
I drive it every day. My only ride got now. 50 miles each way to work.Yeah it runs.

Sounds like a fuel injector that could be stuck or wiring issue with injector. PossiblyYes. They are both new.
I've checked the injectors with a ohm meter. Checked out.Sounds like a fuel injector that could be stuck or wiring issue with injector. Possibly
