D15B VTEC cam in D16Y6?

Hey guys

I have a 96 Civic with a D16Y6 VTEC engine, it's pretty much a D16Y8 for the Asian market. I was wondering if a D15B VTEC cam will fit my Y6 since the D15B one is the most aggressive out of the lot. Will it make much difference?

It'll fit just fine. Both are SOHC Vtec, so it'll fit just fine. When you put it in, make sure to adjust your valve lash.

D15b Vtec has a bigger cam profile

I'm not quite sure I understand the part regarding valve lash?

Valve lash may need to be adjusted due to the bigger cam profile. You may need to double check the timing too.
