Hey guys i just swapped my 1998 honda civic ex. i blew the motor up and swapped another D16Y8 in it. the only thing i cant understand is where this nipple off hose goes. the hose is comming from the valve cover and goes into the thermostat.
the only hose from the valve cover is the breather that goes into the air intake tube, im assuming you have a 99-00 civic, if so then that hose is on the intake manifold flange and is air injection for cold start assist. still dont really know what your question is though?
I think he's talking about the hose that goes from the VC to the Intake, but is also connected by the metal pipes that run the coolant. To the OP, one set is air, the other is coolant, DON'T MIX THE TWO.
