d17a2 camshaft and rods and pistons on d17a1 non vtec

i have a honda civic es1 with a d17a1 engine and was wanting to know if d17a2 (em2) engine parts will work in my engine? are the internal specs the same? my d17a1 has no vtec. not sure if all d17a2 's all have vtec...pretty sure they dont.

all d17a2 have vtec. d17a1 is the same motor, but without vtec and slight changes for example different compression. Not sure about rods and pistons but a crower cam is only for d17a2
