Been looking around for some ff type 1 but i realize that some come with gold perches while others come with red perches. What is the difference, if any, between the gold-perched- FF type 1s and the red-perched-ff type 1s. Different spring rate or dampening? One is a older model while the other is newer?
There are 3 versions..
the first version you wont find sold anywhere anymore. The original type 1's were height and dampening adjustable (just like the current type 2's) but with softer spring rates. They came with a yellow label
the second version (red thick perches) is not dampening adjustable with a white label.
the third version (gold thin perches) has tweaks to things like, better corrosion protection, better adjustment wrenches that actually grab the perch lol, thinner perches (for the tards you try to slam their cars with them) again with a white label.
spring rates for type 1's never changed
