The Canadian Si is the US EX which has the SOHC. 98 or 00, I believe they're both going to be the same except for cosmetic differences.

The SiR is the US Si which has the DOHC.

He just about hit the nail on the head. The only difference between the two should be the front end, and possibly a couple interior pieces. The actual car itself (engine, suspension and whatnot) should be just about exactly the same.

If you're Canadian, eh, then your engine will be the same. Different front end and rear end (slightly) and your HVAC will be different.
