do i need to change fuel pump?

hi guys need some help on my 92 honda civic hatchback recently my car wont start i dont know what happen i didnt hear the humming from the pump and when i try to crank it and put some gas on it it will not start then i turn it off wait for like 5 to 10 minutes then i will hear the humming after that it will start. do you think i will replace the fuel pump?

try changing out your main relay with a known working one and see if that fixes the problem

have you tried having it checked by a mechanic? have it checked by two just to get a second opinion so you can have an idea of you really need to change it. in the meantime, you could also do a little online research on some auto parts to also give you an idea as to how much it would cost you to buy some new ones.

I found out the relay is the problem I change and it's okay now tnx guys

Glad to hear you got it fixed and that it was only the relay and not the fuel pump. You wouldnt have been very happy if you put in a new fuel pump and it still didnt work.
