As long as your car is a 93 or newer you should be able to just swap the transmissions. All d series transmissions will bolt up to d series blocks (88-00), its the dumb little stuff that doesn't swap over sometimes.

I have a 92. Do I have to make some mods to make it fit? Is the flywheel and clutch the same? Can I use the same ECU?

Im 90% 92 civics are cable actuated clutches, and they switched over to hydro in 93. You would need a cable to hydro conversion kit for this to work, and all the other BS. Google it, it has been done many times before, and yeah keep your stock ecu.
