hi everyone

i have done some research and really at a cross to some good information.

i am looking to start experimenting with ecu stuff. i want to use chrome or something i can do myself on my computer or just soldering. i have 2 ecu's. p30 and p72 obd2a. i want to leave the p30 stock untouched and the p72 to experiment with.

i have read that the p72 obd2a is not chippable and others say it is. can this be done? a few shops in town can tune on hondata an such but they are looking at $600 to do so.

all i want to do is extended my rpm range from 8200 to maybe 9500. as well as two step launch control and no release throttle shifting.

is this possible to do myself? what are some good setups to do this? programs etc for this p72 ecu?
any kits to upload info from my computer to the ecu?????

thanks. oh ya, this is on a fully built b16 all motor 12.1 comp.

Heres how to get started with crome, it has basic features, if you want more you can get hondata s300 or similar. The difference is that crome is free. You will still have to get chipped before using crome.
