hey cc techs... i need some help here. i just completed a b16a2 swap into my 1999 dx hatchback, everything's connected wire harness is done correctly, etc. the car runs but like s**t. i stuck a paperclip into the ecu jumper to read the codes and got #20 which is called electrical load detector. i have no idea what or where this part is, and i even called honda and they had no idea what i was talking about. if there's a code for it there has to be a solution! please help!!!

i dont you will find much tech help here, theres probably less then a dozen tech people here.

the code 20 ..ELD its either high/low input voltage.. if you got a multimeter, test your battery ..also check your alternator and test it with a multimeter to see if its pushing the correct voltage. check all wires and grounds in the engine bay, also a lose connection or a bad alternator can cause the problem. then you can also check here for check the fuse box and test the ELD

check out this website for a diagnosis
