Hopefully this will answer the million dollar question that is posted daily.

We also have one here on CC.
http://www.clubcivic.com/board/specs.php

Pulled from www.honda-tech.com . It was the best one I have found.

For everyone out there wondering about all the different Civic chasis codes, here is an almost-complete list.

I would like to thank BauleyCivic for this information he posted as a response and thought it might help people if it were a lot easier to find.
(Sorry I didnt do this before... :hammer: on me)

I think it's pretty self explanitory.

i can see people using the jdm codes, just like real quick to let EVERYONE know what they are talking about....like say for instance, when i call my hatch an eg, its just because most people are gonna know im talking about a 5th gen....same thing goes for the people that call their 6th gens ek's.....i can understand them using it just for a broad description....

but its the ones that are like super adamant about it....like they just wont agree that their stock 5th gen hatch, isnt an eg6....thats the ones that get on my nerves

i dont know if that made any sense

Wow, I feel really enlightened now. I've refrained from asking what the heck all that stuff meant and was discreetly trying to find out. Now I know what two letters of my VIN mean. Yea for ED (as in Special ED in my case haha) *dances around* I learned something new, whoopy! Thanks for this post.
