THANK YOU, I knew it was for something else lol but couldn't remember... But either way I still stand with don't apply a sealant to something that isn't needed..

overheating is not a symptom of a blown headgasket. did you even think to replace the thermostat? thing costs less then $15 and takes a half hour to replace i would have done that before going nuts and replacing the head gasket.

huh? when you blow a headgasket, the coolant is pushed into your cylinder (heance the white smoke from your exhaust) and your coolant depletes, causing your motot to do what... overheat.

everything is tighten to specs and the coolant is leaking from the bottom of the radiator,
it's a tiny drip. i might have to go back and retighten
is the petcock (drain) for the radiator tightened all the way?

i had coolant going into piston one, it looked clean in there like it had been steamed clean
