From knuckle question...

I'm trying to swap my ls into my ef I have everything I Ned but I'm just unsure on the axles I need...I have a buddy of mine who said that I need to swap the knuckles from a DA to the ef to make it work....but I've also read that I can just but axles that fit the ef....does anyone have any idea which is correct... thanks in advance
