Fuel Gauge not working

So I just bought my '97 Civic EX and noticed that the fuel gauge isn't working. Of course the first thing I do is check the float and replaced it. I don't think it's the wiring cluster since the temperature gauge still works. I don't know if it is the gauge itself. Anyone else run into this? All assistance is greatly appreciated!!!

It could be the gauge itself. I'm pretty sure the gauges are seperate on the cluster. Fairly sure I have one lying around you could have, just pay for shipping. PM me if you want it.

There is a sending unit that can prevent the fuel gauge from working as well.
