Have a 1997 3 door coupe 160i Vtec,
The fuel level sensor light never comes on and the fuel gauge will drop to empty even when I have more than a quarter left in my tank. I've been told that it's the floater in my fuel tank but that cannot be replaced by itself and hence the whole fuel tank has to replaced,
Now in order to explore cheaper solutions, could this not simply be an auto electrical issue with regards to wiring?
