Help ASAP!! Please!!

alright guys so i converted my ek (d16y8) from auto to stick and now i have this problem where my idle is up at 2k rpms and if i connect the TPS sensor, my rpms start going up and down from 1k to 2k. i need serious help i even blew my head gasket and im pretty sure all the strain from being at 2k all the time was the last straw that blew it!! this is my daily driver and i need to get it fixed asap! my mechanic says all the hoses are connected properly and that changing my tps sensor and auto map would solve the problem, and i also have a p2p ecu but yet my friend did the same exact swap and did not have to change any of that stuff.. help please?!

Revving from 1-2k did not blow your headgasket. Grab your buddies ecu and swap it out and see if anything changes. Also check your tps to see if it is out of wack, it is suppose to see a certain voltage at idle I cant remember off the top of my head.
