Honda Civic 1997 Brake Lights not Working - Help please

Hi all,

Could not find this on another forum thread. Tail lights work, but brake lights do not come on except the middle light on top of the boot/trunk shelf. I have checked the fuses and replaced the bulbs but has not helped. The horn works (apparently that can indicate a fuse problem?).

Any suggestions?

If you have a test light or voltmeter, unplug the connector for the stoplight bulb and test for power ground when the brake lights are operated. Usually stop/tail lights are on a different circuit than the center stop light.
